FAQ's
Who is eligible to run?
Any undergraduate that graduates after December 2016 is eligible to contest these elections. You choose to run as a Pres-VP pair. You do not need to have any prior UC experience to run.
How do I get on the ballot?
After you have declared your intent to run, you will have to collect 150 signatures to be on the ballot. Procedures will be explained once you declare your candidacy.
Who can vote?
Any undergraduate that is currently on campus this semester is eligible to vote. It is a school wide election.
What do the Pres-VP do?
Leading the Undergraduate Council is a lot of responsibility that includes a wide variety of functions. You will be representatives of the entire student body and advocate on their behalf. Further, you will have the opportunity to interface with key administrators to help implement tangible change on campus. From bringing Tomata Basil Ravioli Soup to launching an app like Omni - it involves a wide spectrum of projects that you can work on.
